Care Network
Care Network is a registered charity that supports people in
Blackburn with Darwen to live independently by referring them onto
a range of quality assured services including a range of gardening
and home maintenance services. Their customers
include older people, people with a disability and those who care
for someone at home, but adults of all ages needing support to live
independently can access their services.
Care Network ensures that all their providers:
- Undertake CRB (criminal records bureau) checks
- Provide references
- Have the relevant qualifications
- Have adequate insurance
So that you can have peace of mind.
All of Care Network's providers will either have published
prices or will supply a free written, no obligation

Gardening service
Do you find it difficult to keep on top of your
gardening chores? If so, Care Network's gardening service will help
to ensure that you enjoy the maximum benefits your garden has to
offer. The service has many satisfied customers. From
regular grass cutting to tree cutting to garden landscaping, there
are a range of services available including:

Home maintenance
Care Network can provide access to a range of trades-people
including plumbers, joiners, roofers, builders, gas engineers,
plasterers, locksmiths, window fitters, electricians and painters

there is no job too small. With a Care Network provider you
can be assured that you will receive a good quality job at a
reasonable price within a reasonable timescale.
Tarmacing and groundwork service
This service covers all types of groundwork
including:
- Tarmacing
- Flagging
- Block paving
- Concreting
- Turfing
- Landscaping and all groundwork
Grave tending service
Whether someone would like one visit or more frequent
visits, our gardener will wash the headstone and tidy the
surrounding area. People can choose to have bedding plants
put in or flowers laid to mark a special date or anniversary. If
people cannot visit the grave, a photograph can be taken of the
grave and sent to the customer.

Healthy homes service
Care Network is the accredited Home Improvement Agency for
Blackburn with Darwen. They're dedicated to helping you live safely
and with dignity at home, because they know that your home is more
than just bricks and mortar.
There is a lot you can do to make your home a better place in
which to live, particularly when your needs may have changed.
Starting to make changes where they are needed can keep you doing
all the normal things you enjoy doing in your daily life.
Care Network now offers expert knowledge, advice and support to
help you to achieve a warm, safe, hazard free and energy efficient
home.
Our new Healthy Homes service is free and offered to Blackburn
with Darwen residents, who are:
- over 65 years old or
- are living with long term health conditions or
- have a child under the age of 5
