Footcare service
Age UK Blackburn with Darwen are working with the NHS to provide a footcare service for people over 50 who are not eligible for NHS Podiatry.
Through their NHS trained staff and volunteers Age UK will offer
a toe nail cutting service together with a relaxing footcare
treatment including bathing of feet and application of foot
cream.
Initially customers will need to be assessed as suitable by an
NHS Podiatrist as certain medical conditions may preclude you from
using the service. They will arrange this for you and once assessed
as suitable they will make an appointment for you at a footcare
clinic convenient to you.
